Professional/Personal Interests:
Dr. Brian Lee, a pianist, has studied with William Phemister, Gabriel Chodos, Marianna Milkis, Joseph Kalichtstein and other renowned teachers, and has performed in a diverse array of venues as a soloist and chamber musician, both in the United States and Canada. He has collaborated with several prominent artists, including cellist Joel Krosnick of the Juilliard String Quartet, mezzo-soprano Emily Lodine and violinist Stephen Clapp.
He has been featured as soloist with several orchestras in the Midwest and has given premieres of works by Schuller, Zwilich, Freeman and others. His solo album, entitled Restoration, was released in the summer of 2007 by Rinnovato Records. He enjoys many different genres of music, and serves as a pianist and vocalist on the worship ministry team at Parkwood Community Church, located in the Chicagoland area.
