It is a pleasure to serve the wonderful young men that come to Moody Bible Institute. The experiences that I have shared with teammates and players continue to reinforce the Christ-honoring standards of the school. Each day together provides a unique learning environment in which we can develop character. As we work through the peaks and valleys of sports competition we see more clearly the grace of Christ which empowers us to live victoriously through faith. It is the friendships that are formed in the heat of athletic battle that often deliver the longest lasting blessing. 

As a long time participant in the Midwest collegiate volleyball scene, Moody has established a reputation of uncompromising sportsmanship and intensity. We currently are members of the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference. Our 2011–2012 year found a resurgent Moody squad battling for a conference championship, finishing with an overall record of 23-9 [6-1 in conference regular season play]. In this evenly matched seven team conference, Moody finished second in the regular season, and third in the conference tournament. As we look to the 2012–13 year, we have the experience and grit to once again play at the top of the conference and league.  

New Players  

If you are thinking that we are closed to new players, please know that the men who play at Moody often enter college volleyball with little or no coached volleyball experience. Through their effort they leave with a good grasp of the game, the fundamentals and godly teamwork. The coaching staff believes that the team is larger than the individual, and for this reason each season finds new players able to work their way into the lineup and record significant playing time. We welcome any student-athlete (regardless of previous volleyball experience) willing to commit his time and abilities to the Lord to bring glory to His name in this amazing arena of volleyball.
