The Residence Life staff desire to see students reach their full potential and take hold of the gifts that the Lord has given them. Our goal is that students would leave Moody as whole individuals who love the Lord, love others and serve for the advancement of the Kingdom.

Mission and Philosophy
The primary focus of Residence Life is students attending Moody's Chicago campus. Residence Life works in concert with Counseling Services, Health Services and Student Programs to promote Student Development's aim of helping students mature in Christ.
The philosophy of Residence Life is to foster a residence hall environment where students experience caring relationships with people serving one another and encouraging each other to seek Christ and make connections between their faith and their everyday life. When students leave Moody, our hope is that they will apply what they have experienced in the residence halls and authentically model a life of faithfully following Jesus Christ, intentionally foster caring relationships which reflect Christ's love for all people, be willing to speak words of encouragement and respond lovingly to breakdowns in integrity.
Residence Life at Moody’s Chicago campus exists to provide students with a safe and healthy living and learning environment that encourages holistic growth and maturity in Christ by:
- mentoring student leaders
- influencing campus culture
- building student relationships
- collaborating with other departments
