Day One Event
Day One is a great way to get a glimpse of Moody student life. Not only will you get the advantages of a normal day visit, but you will meet faculty from every major, meet more students and share in their lives, as well as experience some of our best student-led chapels.
Parents are encouraged to attend with prospective students. While the students are in class, parents will be able to learn more about safety on campus, student services, opportunities for ministry, first year transition and financial information.
The cost for Day One is $25 and covers the student’s lunch, two additional lunch tickets, registration fee and a small gift. Please register at least two weeks prior to the event you wish to attend.
All prospective students and their parents are invited to visit Moody's Chicago campus to enjoy a day of activities. An information session about Moody’s academic program and student life begins at 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, followed by chapel (no chapel on Monday or Friday), class, a complimentary lunch and campus tour.
To schedule a daily or overnight visit, please fill out a request form. An individual daily visit requires at least one week advance notice. Overnight accommodations for prospective students are available for $15.00 from September through April with at least three weeks advance notice. Overnight visits are always scheduled the night before your daily visit and includes a goodie bag, breakfast and lunch ticket. Due to the volume of visitors and other campus events, not all requests can be granted. Please have alternate dates in mind when making your reservation.
Due to summer 2013 construction, on campus parking for admissions visitors is severely limited. Visitors will need to complete their campus visit request form at least two weeks prior to their desired visit date. The Admissions Office will confirm if there is available parking in the visit confirmation email and may require that visitors find off campus parking. More detailed parking information will be provided after the request form is completed.
Youth groups are welcome to visit for a day. Arrangements should be made at least two weeks in advance. Due to limited space, overnight visit accommodations are not available to groups.

Tours for all Moody guests are offered daily at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Beginning in the D.L. Moody Museum, located on the first floor of Smith Hall, guests will view an eight-minute historical video on the life of Moody’s founder, Dwight Lyman Moody. The video is followed by a 45-minute walking tour of the campus led by a current Moody student. If you have a group of 10 or more guests, we would be happy to schedule a special tour for your group.
