Faculty Travel Endowment Fund

The Faculty Travel Endowment Fund of the Alumni Association of Moody Bible Institute

It's your turn to inspire.

Nothing in life can make an impression quite as deep and profound as a great teacher.

Airplane in the skyMoody professors have all been there.  They have firsthand experience doing real ministry—and they've been there for you.  Now you can be there for them.

With the Faculty Travel Endowment Fund, you have an opportunity to give professors a well-earned voyage back into the world of ministry. This fund was created to provide resources for professors to go on enriching cross-cultural mission trips during spring and summer breaks and sabbaticals.  With a gift to the fund, you'll invest in the lives of our faculty and their ongoing ministry—further extending their role in Moody's vision to educate, equip and edify people for Christ.

Through these trips, professors impact the worldwide church of Christ and bring their newly expanded life perspectives to the classroom.

Your gift to the Faculty Travel Endowment Fund will pave the way.

Dr. Mike Vanlaningham in an airplaneWith a gift of any amount, you can give our faculty a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will leave an indelible mark on their lives and in the ministry of their students. It may also serve as a permanent reminder of your faithfulness to Moody Bible Institute.

For every $500 gift received, we will engrave your name or the name of an alumnus you choose to honor on a brick in our Alumni Walkway alongside the names of other generous partners in ministry—brothers and sisters in Moody's rich tradition of Christ's service.

(An MBI alumnus is anyone who has completed college-credit classes equal to one semester (15 hours) of MBI college course work. All faculty members and deans are honorary alumni. The Alumni Association may grant honorary status to others.)

Each brick will tell the story and motivation behind your gift on a computer kiosk in the Alumni Student Center or the alumni office, preserved as a testimony to Christ's faithfulness in using you for His glorious work.

That work is made possible by those who give back!
