I've never been able to: go to the Grand Canyon

People who knew me in high school thought I was: Quiet, loyal, intelligent, unashamed of making Christ known

A book I would recommend: If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat by Larry Crabb, which challenged me to trust God deeper, come out of my comfort zone and allow Him to do what I could never do.

I knew I was grown-up when: I began receiving the monthly mortgage statements in my name and then was responsible to pay them

The worst time in my life: Occurred when I was informed that my wife had 4th stage non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

My most humbling experience: Occurred when Moody offered me the position of Executive Director of the Alumni Association.

Salvation experience: I came to know Christ at the age of 16 years old, when I came to realize that knowing Christ and having a relationship with Him was not based on how good and moral I lived, but on confidently embracing the fact that Jesus died for my sins, that I might really live.

The three words that best describe me: friendly, loyal, persistent
