The Career Development Center based on the Chicago campus, is an ongoing ministry to Students and Alumni assisting them with job, career-oriented materials, counseling, job search strategies and ideas about networking. It is our goal to help you with all facets of a ministry or job search and to teach you lifelong career skills to help you grow as an individual.
The Career Center seeks to help students think ahead to the ministry and job options they are interested in and then structure a major and series of internships to prepare them to be able to compete for that type of position. We work with students from their freshman year through graduation and beyond. We also assist students to identify their "passion" areas. Many students change their minds about their direction, but the Career Center is there to help them navigate through each change.
If you are a prospective student and have ministry career or job questions, ask the Admissions Counselor to arrange a meeting at the Career Development Center. Or you could e-mail a question to the Associate Dean of Career Development at email@example.com.
If you are a current or incoming student with questions about jobs during school or after graduation then contact the Career Center at firstname.lastname@example.org. Chicago students may also want to look at the information about part time jobs at Career Services/Student Employment.
Spokane students have the opportunity to network with the Career Development Center directly by emailing email@example.com or through Spokane Student Services. Also, the Associate Dean of Career Development makes yearly visits the Spokane campus to work face to face with our students.
MTS—Michigan students have the opportunity to network with the Career Development Center directly by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, the Associate Dean of Career Development makes yearly visits the Michigan campus to work face to face with our students.
