Overview

Over the past 15 years, the Moody Men's Volleyball team has consistently produced student-athletes who are seeking to be used by the Lord. The coaching staff endeavors to live their lives above reproach in sight of this next generation of godly men, while allowing the testimonies and growth of the players to teach and encourage themselves.

Fervent reliance on the Lord, God-honoring use of time and service to teammates, officials and opponents have become trademarks of this intercollegiate program. We believe that our athletics are not exempt from Christ's desires for us to be in fellowship with Him each moment of the day, match or set. Practices provide a unique learning environment in which we can develop character. The peaks and valleys of sports competition tend to pinpoint our weaknesses and thus afford the grace of Christ to empower us to live victoriously, soberly and honorably.

As a long time member of the Midwestern collegiate volleyball scene, Moody has established a reputation of uncompromising sportsmanship and intensity. Our recent inclusion in the Mid-America Men's Volleyball Intercollegiate Conference (MAMVIC) has permitted us to face some of the strongest NAIA programs in the country. We are committed to unfailingly outwork our opponents and able to stand tall in the midst of more talented rivals. We welcome any student-athlete (regardless of previous volleyball experience) willing to commit his time and abilities to the Lord to bring glory to His name in this amazing arena of volleyball.
