Overview

Moody Bible Institute has competed in intercollegiate women’s basketball since 1955. The Archers compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and won their first NCCAA national championship in 1987. Chaia Huff has been the head coach since the 2009-10 season.

Players for the Archers hail from all over the country and come to Moody to prepare for a variety of Christian ministries. The dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence required to compete in a collegiate sport plays a vital role in that preparation.
