Overview
Choosing a modular course through the Moody Graduate School combines the convenience of studying at home with an intensive one-week session either on campus or at one of our satellite locations. This option
is a perfect fit for persons whose responsibilities prohibit them from staying on campus or for students wishing to squeeze in a non-traditional course. Students can earn their graduate certificate or degree through the modular program.
Each course is three credit hours and consists of an intensive, one-week modular educational experience, augmented by pre- and post-class assignments. The one-week residency portion of the course is conducted mornings and afternoons, Monday afternoon through Friday morning. Pre-class work varies depending on the nature and scope of the course, but primarily includes reading textbooks and writing reports. The post-class work also varies, but is a general assignment based on the content of the class and often related to the ministry in which the student is engaged.
