What are the hours of the alumni office?
The alumni office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Central Time.
Where is the alumni office located on campus?
The alumni office is on the first floor of Smith Hall. Smith Hall is located between Crowell Hall and Torrey Gray Auditorium. The entrance to Smith Hall is through the Arch (entrance is on the north wall in the Arch) or through the Alumni Student Center.
How do I go about finding a classmate's address?
You may contact the alumni office via phone, fax or e-mail for addresses of MBI alumni. It is our policy to provide addresses, if we have a current listing, only to alumni of Moody. For the protection of our alumni, we are not able to give out telephone numbers. No more than five names and addresses will be released over the phone. Requests from alumni for more than five names should be made to the Alumni Association in writing, with a statement as to the reason for the request.
You may also find information on the secure Alumni Portal. Please fill out the form to request your log in information. Only MBI alumni can access the portal. Once you log in, you will have access to information about friends and classmates who are also Moody alumni. Each individual can determine what information about them is available to others on the Portal. Initially only name and class year are displayed. To allow alumni to see more information, each alumnus may modify their privacy settings. Remember that only other Moody alumni will be able to access this secure site.
Does MBI or the Alumni Association refer churches?
Unfortunately, we are not able to make any church recommendations. We would suggest contacting the headquarters of a denomination you respect for suggestions.
Who do I contact to get a transcript of my student records?
Requests for transcripts are processed by the Office of Academic Records. Alumni may fill out a Transcript Request form and send it to: Moody Bible Institute, Office of Academic Records, 820 N. LaSalle Blvd., Chicago, IL 60610. Most transcripts are processed within three to five business days. There is no cost for processing a transcript. Overnight or next day service can be provided for $25. The Registrar will not issue a transcript or release other nonpublic information except on the written request of the student.
