Overview

All Florida classes are college level courses and are open to students seeking a degree or auditing for personal enrichment. The courses are in an accelerated format requiring students to attend class only once per week and complete each course in a few weeks. Schedules are planned to help students earn their Certificate in Biblical Studies or an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies degree quickly.

Every year, many students accomplish their educational goals by graduating after taking the accelerated classes offered in Florida's Regional Classroom setting. Classes are offered in Boca Raton to serve students in South Florida and in Tampa to serve students in Central Florida. Our consistent growth has enabled us to recently open two new class locations in Boynton Beach and Orlando.

Our Florida classes are offered in four locations for your convenience. Our Tampa location meets on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, and Saturdays. For those who are closer to Boca Raton, you can take classes at our Boca Raton location on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings in both Boynton Beach and Orlando.

Register by phone. To register by phone call 727-937-1571 or toll free 866-624-3537. For more information, you may contact Jan Bryant, Florida Regional Coordinator, at the above number or by email at jbryant@moody.edu.

  • There are no prerequisites required of our MDLC Regional Class students prior to taking most of our classes. Any prerequisites are noted on the course descriptions. For more information, please call the Regional Coordinator at 727-937-1571.
  • New students are allowed to take their first classes before applying for admission to a degree program. However, before completing 12 college credit hours, students are required to apply for admission to one of our degree programs, using the online Distance Learning Application. Students who do not plan to earn a degree must still apply, but simply select "non-degree seeking" status on the application. You will then be able to take courses beyond the 12 credit hour limit. Further information may be obtained by calling the Regional Coordinator at the above number.
  • If you plan to earn a degree and have not yet applied to MBI Admissions for enrollment into a program, please complete the Distance Learning Application as soon as possible.
