Department Mission
The Music Department of Moody Bible Institute exists for the purpose of training and discipling musicians for the advancement of the Christian faith through music ministry.
Department Vision
The Music Department prepares graduates for positions involving music ministry leadership, performance and/or teaching in local churches, mission organizations or other parachurch agencies.
Programs of Study
The Music Department offers two degree programs: the four-year Bachelor of Arts with emphases in composition, ethnomusicology, instruments, piano, organ, voice and ministry electives; and the five-year Bachelor of Music with emphases in composition, instruments, piano, organ and voice.
