    Spokane LP - ProgramsSince 1886, Moody Bible Institute has been preparing students for ministry with a combination of biblical knowledge and ministry experience

    More than 40,000 students have graduated from Moody and have gone on to serve Christ in more than 110 countries as pastors, missionaries, youth workers, ministry leaders, Bible educators and in other roles. 

    Moody Bible Institute's campus in Spokane, Wash., has the amenities of a large city and the comfort and feel of a small town. Moody Bible Institute—Spokane offers six Bachelor of Arts and one Bachelor of Science programs created to give you solid biblical understanding and practical skills to begin your ministry careers. 



    TESOL

    Moody’s TESOL major (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) will equip you for ministry as a missionary, relief worker, local church leader, or international teacher. Learn to use English teaching as a vehicle for service and outreach as you help the body of Christ in its worldwide mission.

    The academic and scriptural depth of this degree will prepare you for continuing education in graduate school. You can also choose the TESOL Interdisciplinary major for additional training in other disciplines.

    B.A. in Biblical Exposition
    This major is designed to train you for composing and delivering messages based upon God's Word.

    B.A. in Biblical Language
    Gain training in translating and interpreting the Bible from the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures.

    B.A. in Biblical Studies
    With this major, be equipped with foundational and intermediate understanding of the English Bible for ministry, future education (graduate school) and lifelong learning.

    B.A. in Intercultural Ministries
    In this program, you are prepared to serve alongside the global church and present Jesus Christ to the unreached.

    B.A. in TESOL
    Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages majors cultivate the skills needed to become effective teachers in a wide range of English teaching ministry contexts.

    B.A. in Youth Ministry
    This program readies students for effective youth ministry within the adolescent subculture.

    B.S. in Aviation Technology
    Start with a strong Biblical Studies foundation then choose an Aviation Technology emphasis: flight or maintenance.

    As a student at Moody’s Spokane campus, you get more than a Bible education. Our world-class faculty has traveled the globe ministering to others in Christ’s name, and they will train you to do the same.   • HOUSING

    MBI—Spokane is a nonresidential campus: students live in community together near campus in safe, affordable apartments and houses, many of them owned by our partners in ministry. Each home is fully furnished and includes a resident assistant who assists students in navigating life at college and in the city of Spokane. 

    Because Moody students live in the middle of Spokane neighborhoods, they are afforded opportunities to interact with their neighbors regularly, making an investment in the surrounding community.

  • EXPERIENCE SPOKANE!

    Experience Spokane! gives future students and parents the opportunity to encounter the heartbeat of Moody Bible Institute—Spokane. While on campus you will: 

    •  eavesdrop on the student experience 
    •  learn about finances, academics and community building 
    •  meet current students  

    Understanding that Spokane is a non-residential campus, parents and students will also learn about and tour Investor-Owned Houses within walking distance of campus. Additionally, other aspects of non-residential campus life such as meals, medical facilities and personal safety will be addressed.
