His clinical and professional interests comprise exploring mental health issues in Evangelical Christian families and communities, identity development, clinical supervision, and counselor professional development. He teaches courses that include human development, marriage and family dynamics, counseling techniques, assessment in counseling, professional identity development, clinical practicum, and internship.
