By collaborating with over 300 churches and agencies in the Chicago and Spokane areas, a student's Field Education experience enhances Moody's classroom instruction by providing valuable ministry experience, a variety of ministry exposure and the opportunity for spiritual exercise throughout each semester of enrollment.
Entering students will be enrolled in the one-credit Introduction to Ministry course (FE 1100) designed to familiarize freshmen and transfers alike with the basics of Christian ministry, as well as the policies and procedures of Field Education.
All undergraduate students are responsible for successful participation in an approved and assigned Practical Christian Ministry each semester of their enrollment. PCM serves as the vital centerpiece for the student's field education, originating with the Introduction to Ministry course in the inaugural semester and concluding with Ministry Internship (FE 4400) as the capstone.
Put classroom knowledge into practice through Moody Bible Institute's Practical Christian Ministries, where ministry skills are developed through real-world experience.
