Associate in Crisis and Trauma Care—On Campus

Pursue Biblical Training to Aid Those in Urgent Need 

This two-year, 60-credit program provides you with specialized training in crisis and trauma care combined with biblically sound principles from God’s Word. You’ll learn how to confidently minister to struggling individuals and families from diverse ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds. You’ll also become equipped to serve in pastoral ministry, humanitarian aid organizations, community services, or mental health facilities. As an on-campus student, you’ll have opportunities to participate in relevant, practical ministry experience in the surrounding communities.

With an Associate Degree in Crisis and Trauma Care, you will be able to:
Construct a theologically informed Christian worldview for crisis and trauma care ministry.
Learn how to serve a diverse range of ages in a wide variety of contexts, such as child development, adolescent psychology, and adult counseling.
Identify key principles of caring for others and develop strategies for applying them in ministry.
Demonstrate skills for providing effective care using a global, developmental, sociological, and trauma-informed Christian ministry perspective.
Build biblically based lessons and case management strategies.
