In her book Designer Women, Ruth Tuttle Conard gives an in depth look at ten women in the Bible. Ruth uses examples from the lives, walks and struggles of these women as well as from her own life to relate to women today. The book is designed to not only encourage, but to challenge, showing women that they have been designed by God.


Ruth Tuttle Conard '63 graduated from Moody Bible Institute. From there she went on to further education at Bethel University. Ruth has served for 20 years as a missionary in Peru and Mexico City. She was also an administration assistant for 15 years in various colleges. Currently, Ruth is the pastoral director of Designed to be Pillars, a ministry geared for woman around the world. Ruth and her husband Bill have three children, the family resides in Minnesota.
