Application Deadlines

Listed below are dates by which applications must be submitted and all required credentials must be on file to receive equal consideration with other applicants. Allow sufficient time for the processing of transcripts and reference requests so that they arrive at the Admissions Office prior to the stated deadlines.

To ensure your application can be considered for the semester of your choice, please have all reference forms and transcript(s) postmarked by the following dates:

Fall First 8-week Session July 24
Fall Second 8-week Session September 25
Spring–CMHC Applicants November 20
Spring First 8-week Session December 7

International Residential Students
Fall Semester March 1
Spring Semester September 1

Application Process

To be considered for admission, you must be a follower of Jesus Christ and actively participate in a Protestant church. No previous undergraduate theological education is required. In addition, the following items below are required as part of the application process:

Applying for Admission

  1. Complete and submit online application.
  2. Support doctrinal qualifications for students.
  3. Write autobiographical essays.
  4. Provide two references (not applicable to CMHC applicants).
  5. Submit nonrefundable application fee.

 

Next steps if you are a:

Future Student

  1. Provide all transcripts.

International Student

  1. Take the English Proficiency Exam.
  2. Provide official evaluated transcripts.
  3. Fill out financial documents (on-campus residential students only).

Clinical Mental Health Counseling Applicant

  1. Participate in a faculty group interview.
  2. No references are required.

Doctor of Ministry Applicant

  1. Provide applicable ministry experience.
  2. Submit 3,000-word essay writing sample.
