You can sharpen your skills as a pastor or ministry leader at the Spiritual Leadership Academy, where you can study the Bible and develop your knowledge of God’s Word. You’ll form relationships with other men and women who want to grow as they continue serving in their ministries around Chicago. Learn effective strategies for powerful and sound biblical interpretation.
Courses are offered at Moody Bible Institute’s Chicago campus, taught by Moody faculty and staff. Earn a certificate when you complete the course, plus continuing education units (CEU courses do not meet college credit requirements).
Come on May 4th to learn more about serving individuals impacted by disabilities in our churches and in our communities.
We will have experts from clinical, pastoral, educational, and parental backgrounds presenting sessions on Mental Health issues, various common disabilities, specific ways that churches can begin to serve individuals and families in the Church, and stories from families who have children with disabilities. There will also be time for questions so you can be sure to get answers for how to improve your ministry to those with disabilities…wherever your church is at on their journey.
Special Presenters include Dr. Andrew Beaty, Professor of Disability Ministry MBIDL; Dr. Elizabeth Smith, Associate Professor of Children and Family Ministry MBI; Dawn Clark, Educational Ministries Adjunct Faculty MBI; and Michelle Maris, Special Needs Pastor at Eastview Christian Church.
Class will be on Moody’s Chicago campus in the Sweeting Center, room 319. It will be held on May 4th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

En Teología Bíblica e Interpretación, el Profesor Emanuel Padilla guiará a los estudiantes a través de la aplicación de métodos utilizados en el desarrollo de teologías bíblicas. Se examinarán las características de los autores de los libros bíblicos, los géneros literarios y los temas que crecen dentro la historia de redención. El curso se enfoca en un tema seleccionado en teología bíblica. Estudiantes escogerán un tema específico para estudiar y crearán su propio papel sobre el tema.
