Andrew Smith
Director of the Title IX Office/Title IX Coordinator
Andrew R. Smith is Moody's new, full-time Director of the Title IX office and serves as the Title IX Coordinator. Andrew served as an Assistant General Counsel for Moody since 2022. Prior to that, he was a law partner in private practice in Plano, Illinois. Andrew has served as President of CASA Kendall County, a non-profit organization that provides legal representation and support to neglected and abused children, and President of the Aurora Public Library District. He received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Indiana Wesleyan University, his Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University. Andrew is committed to Christian service, and has served as a Sunday School teacher for several years.

Rachel Campbell
Deputy Title IX Coordinator
Rachel Campbell is Moody’s full-time Deputy Title IX Coordinator. She has served in this role since 2022, and was the interim Title IX Coordinator between 2020-2022. She has worked at Moody since 2007, and had a number of volunteer experiences that led her to her current role including six years of volunteer experience in the Title IX arena, eight years as Chair Committee member of Moody's on-campus employee-to-student female mentoring program, and serving faithfully on the volunteer staff of her church . Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Moody Bible Institute, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Health Counseling.

Designated Reporters
- All Moody Employees (except for those deemed Confidential Resources: Moody Counseling Services, Health Service, and Moody’s Ombudsman) – All Moody employees report to the Title IX Coordinator. No staff or faculty member can provide a person with confidentiality when a report is made known to them about Sexual Harassment or Sexual Violence. Any staff or faculty member can help a person report to the Title IX Coordinator.
- Moody’s Public Safety Officers – Public Safety can assist Reporters and/or Complainants in making reports to law enforcement and to the Title IX Coordinator.
- Local law enforcement – Moody’s process is completely separate from the police and courts. Moody’s Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Response process and the criminal process may be pursued simultaneously.

Confidential Reporting
A person who wishes to confidentially report Sexual Harassment or Sexual Violence may report directly to any or all of the following:
- Any confidential resource – This includes on-campus and off-campus counselors and healthcare professionals, crisis centers.
- Confidential Advisor – Moody’s Counseling Center has Confidential Advisors available to anyone who has experienced any form of sexual harassment or sexual violence. Please call (312) 329-4194 or email counselingservices@moody.edu. As provided by the Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act, 110 ILCS 155 et seq. (the “Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence Act”), Moody also provides students in Illinois with access to a confidential advisor who meet the statutory requirements of the Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence Act to provide emergency or ongoing support to survivors of Sexual Violence.
