Student Life in Spokane, WA

You’ll have many opportunities for spiritual and personal growth outside the classroom. You can take advantage of many student leadership service opportunities, both at school and in the city. Your life-transforming spiritual growth will continue as you attend chapel and participate in weekly community involvement. Many of your professors are on loan from mission agencies, so you’ll get in-depth exposure to different mission organizations while doing life with staff and faculty and their families.

Take advantage of living in the Northwest with many outdoor recreational activities like rock climbing, kayaking, alpine skiing, running, golfing, hiking, backpacking, and snowboarding.

Housing

Moody Aviation in Spokane is a nonresidential campus, but students can live in community near the Felts Field Airport in affordable apartments and houses owned by our partners in ministry. Lease arrangements are entered into independently at the discretion of each student.

Student Groups

Moody student organizations provide creative outlets to meet the needs of the student body. You can be part of one of the already existing student groups, or you can create your own.

International and MK Student Fellowship

The International and MK Students Fellowship group exists to provide community and assistance to both international students and missionary kids who are acclimating to life in the United States.

Student Council

The members of Student Council seek to provide social, spiritual, intellectual, and physical stimuli to the student body through a variety of programs and various campus events.

International Students

Moody has a large international student population with students from countries around the world.

The aviation student body includes people from China, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, and Thailand, as well as missionary kids from every corner of the globe. These students create a diverse learning community that contributes a positive influence on students, staff, and faculty.

The International Student Office offers immigration assistance, special orientations, and other support to international students and missionary kids.
