The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree program provides you with proven and time-tested ministry and professional skills that you can immediately apply to your kingdom work.
We have five DMin concentrations to choose from:
- Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Preaching
- Doctor of Ministry in Executive Leadership and Ministerial Management
- Doctor of Ministry in Christian Community Development
- Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling
- Doctor of Ministry in Interdisciplinary Studies
All of these programs provide invaluable resources and tools that form a theological and academic foundation for rewarding ministry service. Equipped in this way, pastors, ministry leaders, and ministry practitioners like you can effectively prepare for a new phase of ministry as you grow in your current field. Our DMin is designed to help you gain new skill sets that allow you to grow and thrive as a leader and practitioner in your particular ministry.

Your Professors
- Study under outstanding MTS professors offering a wealth of experience in the field and the classroom, including Dr. Brian Tucker, who has published numerous pastoral journal articles and books, including Reading Paul in Context: Explorations in Identity Formation.
Financial Aid
- This three-year, 30-credit hour degree is available at $695 per credit hour. Scholarships and payment plans are available, and you may also qualify for a federal loan.
Learning Options
- This advanced ATS-accredited degree includes two years of course work, a Capstone Project, and an oral defense. You can choose to study in three, convenient ways:
- Online so you can keep your current schedule while you learn
- On campus in Chicago or Plymouth, Michigan
- Combine online and on-campus options with modular classes

- Moody’s Doctor of Ministry program is accepting applications for Fall 2024 now. All applicants must have a Master of Divinity degree or an MA in Biblical, Theological, or Ministerial Studies in addition to work experience.
